Shenzhen Jueying Technology Co., Ltd. the company behind Viltrox, began developing and producing camera accessories in 2007. This is a complete photographic equipment company that includes product development, design, production, and sales. Viltrox brand itself is established in 2009. In the photographic equipment market, this brand has been a very competitive manufacturer. Viltrox provides you with whatever photographic equipment you want.
VILTROX Reviews
Photographers once were cautious of third-party camera lens manufacturers because they often compromised performance for a lower price. Today, however, this is no longer the case. Even experienced photographers are turning to third-party lens producers like Viltrox to provide competitive lens alternatives.

When it comes to lenses, Viltrox develops its own designs and distributes them directly to the customer. You may also purchase lens adapters, video monitors, LED lights, and other items from the Viltrox shop. Viltrox specializes in prime lenses that do not zoom in or out. They also have a variety of fixed-length lenses. With this, you may get the best lenses for your camera hobby.
Viltrox 23mm F1.4
The Viltrox AF 23mm f/1.4 is a direct rival to the Fujinon XF 23mm f/1.4 R in terms of specifications. The Fujinon lens will set you back $899, while the Viltrox will set you back $329. Viltrox has successfully developed a significantly more cheap alternative to Fujinon’s official lens. This is one of the lenses’ benefits over its rivals.
This Viltrox lens is an 11-element design divided into ten groups, with two ED and two HRI components included. It features a 9-blade aperture, weighs 260 grams, and accepts a 52mm filter. It has a micro-USB connector for firmware changes since it is a fly-by-wire architecture. Overall, this is a nice-looking lens with an f/1.4 aperture.
This Viltrox lens construction quality is good, it seems lighter than the Fuji XF 23mm f1.4, and it balances well on the X-T3. It also seems to have a good shape. This Viltrox product comes with a fantastic metal lens hood that easily goes on the front and exudes quality. The focus ring is buttery smooth, and the lens mount is robust.
For stills, the autofocus of this Viltrox lens is swift and quick to gain focus, and it works flawlessly in most scenarios. It’s also somewhat quiet, which is a significant improvement over the previously mentioned loud Fuji XF lens. The STM motor is really quiet for video and hardly audible, Viltrox nailed the balance just right. It’s excellent and smooth in continuous autofocus, follows the subject nicely, and keeps focus breathing to a minimum. Face detection is also quite good, particularly on the X-T3.

Viltrox 85mm F1.8
The Viltrox AF 85mm F1.8 is a short telephoto lens for mirrorless cameras that is adjusted for full-frame sensors. Sony’s E-mount, Nikon’s Z-mount, and Fujifilm’s X-mount are all available. When mounted on bodies having APSC sensors, such as Fujifilm’s X-series cameras, the Viltrox 85mm f1.8 becomes a 128mm f2.5 lens in terms of angle of view and depth of focus.
The Viltrox 85mm F1.8 is a pretty standard-sized full-frame lens, measuring roughly 3.7 inches (9.5cm) in length but weighing a hefty 17.1 ounces (484g). This is in sharp contrast to the earlier version of the lens, which was much heavier. This Viltrox camera lens size and weight are exceptionally nicely balanced on a variety of compatible cameras.
Although you would anticipate mediocre sharpness from a cheap lens, the Viltrox 85mm F1.8 does not disappoint. The center of the frame is fairly crisp when shooting wide open. When you stop down just a little bit, the Viltrox truly shines, with outstanding center sharpness and much of the softness towards the corners evened out. Overall, particularly given the price, this Viltrox lens is extremely good. In fact, this Viltrox lens seems to be at its best when stopped down to roughly F8, providing near-perfect performance, suggesting that it may be used as a landscape lens, perhaps for panorama stitching.

Viltrox EF-M2 II
The Viltrox EF-M2 II (0.71x) is a speed booster that performs precisely what its more costly competitor does for a fraction of the price. The Viltrox EF-M2 II is available from the official shop for about $218. Because the EF-M2 is an active lens adapter, it can control things like focus and iris from the camera, depending on the lens compatibility. Any other inexpensive lens adapter would suffice, but only this one has an active lens.
You may use the Viltrox EF-M2 II to attach an EF mount lens to a mirrorless camera with a Micro Four Thirds mount. The autofocus of your camera is preserved with this Viltrox adaptor. The adapter shortens the focal length of your lens by a factor of 0.71x. A 50mm lens, for example, becomes a 35mm lens, giving you a bigger picture angle. Furthermore, the aperture is increased by one stop, making the lens brighter. In low-light situations, you can snap crisper images. A setting button on the top of the adapter allows you to simply change the aperture. With the accompanying tripod adapter, you may mount this ring on a tripod.

Viltrox L116T
The Viltrox L116T is a low-cost dual-color (daylight and tungsten) LED panel intended for the lower end of the video and photography sectors. The display of this Viltrox LED panel has a professional appearance and provides enough brightness and control. You would assume that at such a low price, you won’t be receiving much in the way of build quality. Thankfully, this does not seem to be the case with the Viltrox L116T.
In general, these Viltrox lights are well-made. Even if they’re cheap, they won’t make you appear like you can’t afford a genuine light if you use them. They’re also slim and light, which is a big bonus if you want to utilize one as an on-camera light. The greatest aspect is that this item is pretty durable.
The bottom of the panels has a 1/4-20 thread, which may be used to attach them to just about anything. They also have a combined mount adaptor with a 1/4-20 and hot-shoe mounting location on the bottom, as well as tilt and rotation options for the light.
The fact that the Viltrox L116T lights are bi-power is a wonderful feature. They may be powered by a Sony NPF (also known as L series) battery mount or a normal coaxial DC barrel plug (5.5 mm jack w/ 2.1 mm center pin) and a 12 V power supply.
The name-plate capacity of the battery that came with this light is 2200 mAh at 7.4 V or 16.28 Wh. The Viltrox L116T has an hour of run time at the maximum brightness and output level, 100 percent at 4500K before the lights automatically turn off. This is around what you’d anticipate from a 15W light powered by a 15 Wh battery. It’s unusual to find an auto power-off mechanism in such a low-cost lamp.

VILTROX Questions & Answers (Q&A)
Customers usually ask the following questions when searching reviews for VILTROX. We help to answer and making it easier for you to make a purchase decision.

Why do you need to upgrade your camera lens?
A good camera body with a good lens will capture better pictures than a pro-level camera body with a kit lens. The lens has a greater impact on the aesthetic appearance of the picture than the camera body. Background blur, depth of focus, sharpness, and smoothness, to mention a few, are all controlled by the lens. That is the reason for you to buy a new camera lens, if you need affordable ones, Viltrox is a good choice.
What is focal length? Is it important?
Most lenses’ focal length – or, to put it another way, how far zoomed in the lens is – is the most significant feature. The focal length of a lens is measured in millimeters. There are several lenses that only have one focal length. Prime lenses are what they’re called. Zoom lenses, on the other hand, cover a wide variety of focal lengths. Check the focal length first when you are buying a new camera lens. If you need a variety of camera lenses, you can check Viltrox brand.
What kind of construction is ideal for a camera lens?
One of the most crucial and easiest to ignore of all of these considerations is the lens’s structure. Lenses with the fewest moving components (i.e., internal focus and internal zoom) are often preferred since they have fewer sources of failure. It’s the same with weather-sealed lenses; it’s worth spending a little extra for a lens that will last longer. Even if you spend a little more for superior constructed lenses, it’s worth the expense since you may avoid having to purchase a substitute. Check out Viltrox brand if you want a long-lasting camera lens.
What is the meaning of Bokeh in camera lens?
If you snap images with a small depth of field, bokeh will be a major consideration. Bokeh is the out-of-focus blur characteristic of a photograph. It was formerly a highly particular photographer in-group word, but once Apple used it in a commercial, it’s become rather common. The bokeh of certain lenses is superior to that of others. You’ll undoubtedly hear about that in any evaluations of such lenses. Although every photographer has their own tastes, bokeh is usually thought to be nice when it has little roughness and gentle transitions. Viltrox camera lens may gives the best bokeh that compatible with your camera.
Is a third-party camera lens bad?
In addition to lenses created by camera manufacturers like Nikon, Canon, Sony, and others, a plethora of third-party firms also produces lenses. On the one hand, if a third-party manufacturer produces a lens that your camera manufacturer does not, it is well worth exploring. However, many third-party lenses have focal lengths and maximum apertures that are comparable to or equal to those of camera manufacturers’ lenses. The third-party lens is generally less costly in this instance. In terms of quality, certain third-party camera lenses may be better or worse than those made by camera manufacturers. Viltrox is an outstanding example of a third-party brand that produces some excellent camera lenses.
VILTROX Expert Reviews
If you were doubtful of Viltrox’s cheap costs before, don’t be—its lenses are a great budget-friendly alternative to those manufactured by specific camera manufacturers. While there are certain compromises to be made, the visual quality is often excellent. Viltrox also makes excellent lenses and offers software upgrades to guarantee that they perform to their full capacity.

However, Viltrox lenses are quite good, making this system appealing to a broad variety of amateur photographers. If you want the most, but don’t mind some unsharpness around the borders on open and the aforementioned chromaticity, I recommend looking at the complete frame.

This lens has a superb optical design. It’s made up of ten components, two of which are ED and two of which are aspherical, so it’s clearly meant to address all of the major difficulties. Nanocoatings have very little flare and provide excellent contrast and color in every environment. In this way, it may even outperform Nikon. With an internal focus element, there is very little focus on breathing (excellent for video). There’s no mention of weatherproofing. This lens is fantastic in terms of optics. With the exception of some distortion, there aren’t many issues. It clearly produces photographs of the excellent quality that you’d expect from major companies.

The Viltrox 56mm Cine is the first lens we’ve evaluated from the Chinese company, and it’s a fascinating lens. It’s well-made and simple to use, with just the proper focal throw. It features a good Bokeh, low (pincushion) distortion, and low breathing. Overall, it’s a good value for money for those searching for a small, well-built Cine lens for APS-C, and if you don’t mind a little vignette on an FF, particularly when utilizing clear picture zoom.

The Viltrox is robust enough optically to please most photographers, and it is simply superb in terms of pricing. That includes the bokeh, which I find to be pretty appealing. The rendering quality is outstanding, and the detail on the primary subject is excellent, even in this image, which has a lot of potential for activity in the transition zone.
